Bosul-Bi (Drizzle)

Often thread is used simply as a line to define the space for the installation, of different size and weight. Recently I have started to color on it with my own mixed pigments, signifying personal symbolic elements. In the production of Bosul-Bi (Drizzle). the blue color from my old palate in landscape painting, which I left many years ago, has returned on thread and with it, meanings of freedom.

Opening the boundary of art making with thread, exploring lines, dots, shapes and forms from ordinary everyday life, I cultivate material to bloom with special meaning. Thread is thin, so production takes patience and meditation. Eventually thread, patience, and meditation become visible substance, and then it is time for me to let go.
